The following is the simulation of the diffusive transport equation in 1d :
(d/dt)F+u*(d/dx)*F-k*(d2/dxx)*F = 0
where u is the velocity of the particle being transported.
In the example, we are transporting a senoid wave from left to right. You can change the velocity and the coefficients of diffusion modifying the parameters u and k in the 'globals' button.
You can experiment making the equation diffusive-dominant, or convective-dominant.
